Treasure Hunt

Here is another treasure hunt that we used. We had the girls use their scriptures to look up what they were supposed to be looking for and filled in the directions on the compass to tell them where they could find it. We used it for orienteering certification and had a light house key chain from Oriental Trading co that said "Jesus is the Light" at the end of the hunt. Attached to the key chains was a poem that is printed at the end.
A long time ago, a great council was held
Our Heavenly Father gathered us all around
He told us of a plan that would start with our birth
And end when with glory and immortality we are crowned.

He said that we would come to this world here on earth
Our memories of before would be erased.
It was His plan for us to find our way back to Him
A guide he would set in place.

Our brother spoke up eager to lead,
"Send me! I'll make sure they come back!
The glory be mine but you'll have them home.
Not one is sure to slack."

A kinder brother stepped up and said,
"Thy will, Father, will we do.
Free agency they will know, guidance I will show.
It will be their choice to choose."

Our Father's plan was set in place
With Jesus to be our Light.
The promise was given that if Him we week,
His kingdom will never be lost from our sight.

The scriptures are given to help us they give us answers on where to go. 1 Nephi 11:25 tells us of His love for us __________is how we truly know. Tree of Life (gospel)

Another clue to the treasure you seek of finding you way back home Is in 1Corinthians 10:13,21 and ________makes who we follow known. Table (temptation)

If we are to follow Christ's lead We must ask for help through prayer. And in D&C 19:28-31 we learn as we go _________we find more instruction there. Fire (Prayer)

A temple marriage is another step To returning home above. Go _________ and Mosiah 2:6 It's the path to our Father's love. Tent (temple marriage)

Many are called but few are chosen And we must answer this call. D & C 15:6 says in His kingdom we will all rest. Go ___________ for this is not all. Rest room (missionary)
